"Breathing in Papa" moments are everywhere when I choose...

"Breathing in Papa" moments are everywhere when I choose to seek, see, hear, feel, be." Karenism

Biographies and memoirs are favorites in my "Audible" listening, especially when read by the writer as you get their intent and emotion behind their story telling.
My recent listen is Amy Poehler' Yes Please.
Her humor and candid reflection of her easy going childhood, and journey thru career/creativity, along with learned wisdom makes this memoir to my "must listen" list.
And another individual to add to one who demonstrates the importance of  "being true to yourself and finding the people who appreciate you for who you are."

Highlights for me:
Chapter 25 - Career vs Creativity and Chapter 32 - Time Travel
Below are excerpts from Amy's chapter 32 that gripped my attention that I had to write them in my journal and here for you to ponder.

"Time travel: it exists and we are in control of it."
"The only thing we can depend on in life is that everything changes.  (Seasons, wants and needs, friends, age)."
"Change is the only constant."
"Your ability to navigate and tolerate change and its painful uncomfortableness directly correlates to you're happiness and general well being."
"If you can surf your life rather than plant your feet, you will be happier."
"Change happens and time passes. You can control time...If you can let go of the next and the before.""
"Time travel: People, places, things. ... Mental picture... Felt grateful....and that is the key to time travel. "You can only move if you are actually in the moment."
"You have to be where you are to get to where you need to go."
"Life is not fair or safe or even ours to own."

"The more I travel the more I learn I am just where I need to be."
